Google Apps is a service provided by Google for Small and large Businesses,It is estimated that about 5 million businesses and 40 million people use Google Apps. Now Google Removed Fee Apps Option from Google Apps Sign up page, but you can still get Free Google Apps account to Sign up Visit This Page.
Step 1 Sign Up for Google Apps
Enter Your Domain Name if you don't have Domain then you can purchase from Google.
Step 2 Choose Setup Options
After that you will be asked for Login into your Google App account, Login with the Username and password which you had entered in sign up, then Click on Setup Tab from the menus.
Choose your Setup Option new Users Click on express, its easy and you can skip steps also.
Step 3 Verify your Domain
Now Setup will start you have to click on Next button and in between you will be asked to verify your domain, Domain verification is important unless you will not be able to use Google Apps. so verify your Domain First.
When you Click on Verify Now Link you will be redirected to Domain Verification page, Google made these things very easy you need to select your Domain Registrar, Like my Domain is registered from Godaddy.
Click on Verify Now button, if your Domain provider is not in the List you can use Manual method.
Login into your Godaddy Account to verify your Domain.
Click on Allow Access.
If you are sure then click on yes to start verification process.
At Last Click Continue to Complete Verification.
Step 4 Change MX Records
Best thing which I like About Google Apps is Emails, you can use your own Email like yourname@example.com, and you will get the interface and features of Gmail which is the best part of Google Apps, no need to get hosting for your Emails, You can create 10 Users in Free Google Apps.
To Change MX Records you need to Sign In into your Domain provider You can check MX Records for Specific Domain provider.
Go to the DNS manager to change MX Records.
Add New MX Records
Name/Host/Alias Time to Live (TTL) Record Type Value / Answer / Destination
Blank or @ 300 MX 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Blank or @ 300 MX 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Blank or @ 300 MX 5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Blank or @ 300 MX 10 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM
Blank or @ 300 MX 10 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM
Now Your Google Apps Account is Ready for use.
